Athens Technical College (ATC) has been involved in Open Educational Resources (OER) initiatives from their early foundations in online learning to moving towards a community of practice.  Examples of our OER efforts include professional development opportunities for faculty and staff,  building a repository of open content, and formation of an OER Committee with representation across campus.  In 2012, ATC received a Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant which in part provided funding and support for OER initiatives. This opportunity enabled the CTL team to scale OER integrations through administration-faculty partnerships, including establishment of an OER steering committee; and lead efforts to reduce costs for students attending the College.The CTL’s portfolio of initiatives include: Raising awareness and collaborating with faculty including formation of an OER Committee Learning more about OER and Open communities through networking and professional development (OpenEd Conference, Symposium on the Textbook, OSCON, among others)  and participating in MOOCs (OER MOOC from BC Campus) Serving as advocates across campus and regionally through curating and creating materials, presenting at conferences, and other opportunities  such as participating in OpenAccess Week 2014 Investing in technology to support OER Developing a learning object repository to store and share digital…
